Self-taught inventor seeks government support for local innovations
Gustaf Sakaria, a technician from Okapya village in Oshana, is appealing to the government for support to develop his mechanical and electronic inventions since 2000. He believes greater backing for local innovators could reduce Namibia's reliance on imported technology and has named a small aircraft he recently built after Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare.
