Khomasdal Baptist Church in Windhoek has opened a shelter that accommodates about 15 homeless people, providing meals, warm beds and daily devotion sessions for N$50 a day. The pastor said the church identified a space to help people experiencing homelessness and partnered with other churches and community groups to connect those in need to the shelter.
