Capricorn Eagles advance despite T20 final loss to Uganda
Namibia's women's cricket team won all six group matches in the Capricorn Women's T20 Quadrangular tournament but fell short in the final, losing to Uganda by 17 runs while reaching 129/6 in chase of 146. Despite the loss, Namibia won two matches each against Uganda, Hong Kong and Tanzania, with captain Sune Wittmann claiming the batter of the tournament award (238 runs at 47.60 average) and Mekelaye Mwatile winning both bowler of the series (8 wickets at 5.65 economy rate) and player of the series awards.
