Despite the loss, Namibia won two matches each against Uganda, Hong Kong and Tanzania, with captain Sune Wittmann claiming the batter of the tournament award (238 runs at 47.60 average) and Mekelaye Mwatile winning both bowler of the series (8 wickets at 5.65 economy rate) and player of the series awards.
