Fraud case against Speaker Kuugongelwa-Amadhila withdrawn

The News

A fraud case in which former Prime Minister and current Speaker Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila was defrauded of N$159,000 has been withdrawn by the State. Three suspects—Phillipus Iipinge, Lott Sakaria and Simon Simon—who were arrested and charged with fraud and alternatively theft, have had their bail refunded and been released after the investigating officer indicated a missing document from MTC.
