The Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management has officially begun implementing the Prime Minister's Charity Foundation, which raised N$4.2 million through a gala dinner and is supporting local authorities through strategic planning and capacity-building initiatives. Seven selected local authorities and village councils are participating in a five-day Strategic Plan Development Workshop to develop plans that strengthen governance and improve service delivery.

    Katoole Ipinge, a former Manager for Marketing and Communications at the Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management, appeared in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court on corruption allegations and was granted bail of N$10,000. According to investigations, N$175,200 was allegedly deposited into his personal bank account, and he faces charges under the Anti-Corruption Act for allegedly using his office for gratification.
